    -

    CADEN KRYZ, freshman guard

Q: What are your goals this season?
A: The goal is to get to state. That's really it.

Q: What does it mean to play “Mentor basketball”?
A: Tough. Work hard. Get on the floor. Shoot your open shots.

Q: What is your most memorable moment as a Cardinal?
A: The two games I hit two 3s in for varsity against Medina and Strongsville was really nice.

Q: What Cardinal did you enjoy watching play or base your game after?
A: Justin Fritts. He worked hard, shot the ball. He was great.

Q: What is something that people don’t know about you?
A: Basketball is pretty much it for me. It's all basketball.

    TADAS TATARUNAS, freshman forward

Q: What are your goals this season?
A: The team goal is to get to state and work hard in the playoffs, and for myself, I look forward to getting a starting position and helping the team as much as I can.

Q: What does it mean to play “Mentor basketball”?
A: We play hard every possession, we don't give up and we take pride in everything we do.

Q: What is your most memorable moment as a Cardinal?
A: When I scored my first points on the varsity level (vs. Riverside) it really made me feel like I belonged.

Q: What Cardinal did you enjoy watching play or base your game after?
A: Brandon Fritts. He is a big guy who works hard every possession and goes after every loose ball. That is what I strive to be like.

Q: What is something that people don’t know about you?
A: I work hard on the court in basketball, but I also work hard in the classroom. I currently maintain a 4.0 GPA. I also am working hard in football to try to be the starting QB at Mentor.
