    Alfieri paces Hornets at preseason tourney

    Victor Alfieri shot a 76 to finish third at the Chagrin Valley Conference Chagrin Division preseason tournament at Little Mountain Country Club on Monday.

    Aaron Shultz also finished among the top 10 to lead the Hornets to a fourth-place finish with 345 strokes.

    Shultz shot an 83, good for seventh place overall.

    Ben Beres (91), Micah Reynolds (95), and Aidan Knaus (116) also competed for the Hornets.
