    Cardinal to host junior high/youth wrestling tournament

    Cardinal High School will host the 19th Annual Cardinal Junior High/Youth Wrestling Tournament on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015. 

    Wrestlers will be grouped by division and weight class:

    Division I (Age 6-7) 10:00 a.m.

    Weights: 40, 45, 50, 56, 63, 70, HWY

    Division 2 (Agest 8-9) 10:00 a.m.

    Weights: 50, 56, 61, 66, 71, 75, 80, 86, 92, 98, HWY

    Division 3 (Ages 10-12*) 12:30 p.m.

    Weights: 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 97, 104, 112, 120, 135, HWY

    Division 4 (Ages 13-14**) 3:30 p.m.

    Weights: 83, 89, 95, 101, 107, 113, 119, 125, 131, 137, 145, 153, 163, 175, 245

    *-Elementary School students only
    **-Middle School students only

Hare attended Willoughby South High School through the middle of his senior year, then graduated from Berkshire High School in Burton in 1986. He played football, wrestled and was an all-Geauga county baseball player (1986). He lives in Chardon with his wife Paulette and their children.
