    Dan Malarik named Independence Athlete of the Week

    Senior Dan Malarik was named Independence Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 21. Malarik scored eight goals and had three assists during the week.

    Five of those goals came against Cornerstone Christian, which tied the school record for individual goals scored in one contest. His work ethic and desire to win are unmatched and has taken his senior year to have the best season of his career.
