    Emily Magas named Independence Athlete of the Week

    Senior Emily Magas recorded 18 kills, 30 digs and five aces in leading Independence to two conference wins. For her performance, Magas was named Independence Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 16, 2015.

    “Emily continues to be a driving force both offensively and defensively for the Lady Devils,” said Independence coach Megan Osysko. “As a senior captain, Emily is proving that she wants to make her mark by leading and helping the team improve each time they step on the court.”
