    Independence sweeps Berkshire for 16th straight win

    INDEPENDENCE–Independence swept visiting Berkshire on Tuesday, 3-0, to remain undefeated with 16 straight wins this season.

    The Blue Devils won the match 25-13, 25-10, 25-13 and are now 16-0 on the year.

    Independence, ranked third in the latest state coaches poll, hosts St. Joseph Academy on Wednesday in a battle of state-ranked teams. St. Joe’s is ranked fourth in Division I.
