    Izzy Coode was named the Vipers 16U Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, June 12, 2022.

    Coode led the Vipers to a 6-2-1 record at the Greg Miller Memorial Tournament in Findlay.

    She batted a team-best .500 (15-for-30) with one double, one triple, and one home run. She tied for the team-high with 14 runs scored and she also led the Vipers with 13 runs batted in.

    Coode will be a junior at Mentor High School in 2022-2023.

He began as a correspondent for the Lake County News Herald, where he contributed until 2011, primarily covering high school football and wrestling. Hare attended Willoughby South High School through the middle of his senior year, then graduated from Berkshire High School in Burton in 1986. He played football, wrestled and was an all-Geauga county baseball player (1986). He lives in Chardon with his wife Paulette and their children.
