WILLOUGHBY—Jo Janda drained five 3-pointers in leading Chardon to a 63-34 win at Western Reserve Conference rival South on Wednesday.

Janda hit two 3s in the first quarter as the Hilltoppers built an early 15-8 lead.


Sam Liechty then scored six of her eight points in the second quarter as Chardon pushed its lead to 31-19 at the break.

Liechty finished with nine points while Emily Noerr contributed to the win with eight and Kayla Noerr and Riley Zimmerer both pitched in with seven.

Kailey Minch led the Rebels with 14 points. Jada Hopps and Molly McGlaughlin both scored six points.

Chardon improved to 8-5 overall and 1-1 in the WRC while South dropped to 0-3, 0-2.
