CONCORD—A.J. Marcinko shot a 90 to finish in fifth place at the Chagrin Valley Conference Metro Division postseason tournament at Quail Hollow Golf Resort on Monday.
Led by Marcinko, Independence finished in third place as a team behind Lutheran West and Beachwood.
Mike Jedrzejek (13th, 103), Hugh Corrigan (14th, 104) and Ryan Gibson (17th, 115) also finished among the top 20 for Independence.
Mark Tripodi shot a 125 to finish 23rd in the division.
