    Vipers conclude tryouts

MENTOR–The Ohio Varsity Vipers, Northeast Ohio’s newest travel softball, completed tryouts on July 29.

The Vipers, who will compete in the 16U and 18U divisions beginning this fall, had nearly 50 girls attend one or both of the two tryout dates offered on the turf field at Mentor High School.

As soon as teams are formed, the Vipers will begin practicing for multiple fall events and then they’ll spend the winter indoors training for a competitive summer season.
