The defending Division II state champion team is just two wins away from repeating as state champion.

Riverside (27-4) returns to Firestone Stadium in Akron on Saturday afternoon to face Kings (28-1) in an Division II state semifinal. First pitch is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.

The Beavers captured the Division II state title last spring and now look to continue their championship run against one of Ohio’s top teams. Kings enters the semifinal riding an impressive season with just one loss.

The winner advances to the Division II state championship game on Sunday at Firestone Stadium.
