The 2026 All-Ohio boys basketball teams for Divisions IV through VII are loaded with Northeast Ohio talent, and the region didn’t just show up—it made a statement.
From first-team headliners to a deep pool of second- and third-team selections, the area produced impact players across every level, reinforcing what local fans already know: this is one of the most talent-rich pockets in the state.
At the top, a pair of electric playmakers set the tone.
Grand Valley’s Carter Turk powered his way onto the Division VI First Team after a dominant junior campaign, averaging 19.0 points per game and anchoring one of the area’s most consistent teams. In Division VII, Fairport’s Yomar Castellano earned First Team honors with a dynamic 19.8 points per game, showcasing elite scoring ability in one of the state’s smallest divisions.
Those selections highlight the ceiling—but the depth tells the full story.

Depth of Talent Across Divisions
Kirtland placed two seniors on the Division VI Second Team in Ben DiFranco and Lucas Renfro, giving the Hornets a dynamic duo. Renfro’s 18.0 points per game paired with DiFranco’s all-around presence made Kirtland a tough matchup all season.
The Third Team across divisions featured a strong Northeast Ohio presence as well.
Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin’s Brendan Hernan earned Division IV Third Team honors after averaging 17.1 points per game, while Brooklyn’s Devin Hardwick and Fairview’s Will Allen represented Division V with standout senior seasons.
Richmond Heights sophomore Dereon Barber added his name to the Division VI Third Team, signaling a rising underclassman to watch moving forward. In Division VII, Cornerstone Christian’s Darrien Davis capped his senior year with Third Team recognition after averaging 18.4 points per game.
Recognition Runs Deep
Beyond the headline teams, the number of Special Mention and Honorable Mention selections underscores just how deep the talent pool runs locally.
Programs such as Crestwood, Chagrin Falls, Lake Catholic, Fairview, and Jefferson all placed multiple players on the list, while younger standouts—such as Cuyahoga Heights freshman Gus Tartara—hint at the next wave of All-Ohio performers already on the rise.
From established stars to emerging names, the 2026 All-Ohio teams reflect both production and promise across Northeast Ohio hardwoods.
